If you’re gearing up for the software technical conference season, there’s a new event to consider: FalafelCon. Falafel Software, a software consulting and training company, announced that it will present the first FalafelCon — an annual training conference geared toward software developers who work with Microsoft technologies — at Microsoft’s Silicon Valley Campus in Mountain View, California, on June 10 and 11, 2013.
FalafelCon, which takes place just a few days after Microsoft TechEd North America 2013, offers developers four co-located events with 40 technical sessions. The co-located events will include sessions on web and mobile development using Microsoft development tools, covering topics such as Windows Azure tips and tricks, cross-platform mobile development, Near Field Communications (NFC) with Windows Phone, Windows 8 sensor integration, and others. Additionally, as part of the conference attendees will be able to attend two product-specific events, one on Telerik’s Sitefinity CMS and one on SmartBear’s automated testing tool, TestComplete.
Scott Hanselman will give the conference keynote on the future of the ASP.NET. Hanselman is well-known in the Microsoft platform developer community in his role as Principal Community Architect for Web Platform and Tools at Microsoft and his blog Scott Hanselman’s Computer Zen. Tim Huckaby, CEO of Actus Interactive Software, founder of InterKnowlogy, and another popular speaker on Windows software development topics, will give a keynote on the Natural User Interface.
Early registration for FalafelCon, which ends March 31, is $399.
